-PR: Pull, Ship, log and track PR samples. Review publications for PR hits and scan for web content. Build press kits as needed. -Donation/Sponsorship Requests: Fulfill & respond to requests as directed by manager, track items and dollar amount shipped for such requests. -Rider Emails: Responsible for managing incoming Rider emails through the website. Build responses, take action as needed. -Website: Help manage content updates: news, events, etc. -Events: Assist in planning, set up and execution of any local Ride events that fall during the internship period. -Research: competitors, advertising, etc. -Editing: Proofing & assisting on Marketing materials as needed (including, but not limited to consumer pieces, web content, catalog copy). -Various shipping, building and other tasks that may apply to marketing materials, sales material, tradeshow prep, etc. -Competitor tracking (including but not limited to) print ad comparison in endemic publications, tracking competitors ad spend. -Analysis of advertising spend for Ride Snowboards, comparing web, print and television. Review estimated, perceived, and/or purchased impressions in the varying media outlets.
Required Qualifications:
Must be enrolled in College and be able to provide proof that credits will be received for this work experience. Preferably the college program will have a focus on a Business, Marketing or Communications major. This will be an unpaid internship.
Desired Qualifications:
Knowledge of Microsoft Office, including excel, powerpoint and outlook. Experience with HTML, Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop a plus. Strong organizational, communication and written skills.
