BCA - Customer Service II

Purpose: Provide outstanding and timely customer and warranty service

  • Answer all phone calls and e-mails from customers with a focus on warranty
  • Processes all WRMA’s and GRMA’s through SAP and File Maker
  • Generate upgrade sales when product is out of warranty
  • Enter sales orders for both retail and wholesale customers
  • Performs reconciliation of key account returns, ensuring proper credit is issued in the appropriate accounting period
  • Receives, inspects and processes all returned products for warranty consideration
  • Determines action to be taken on returned products, be it WRMA or GRMA
  • Fulfills customer orders for warranty replacement parts
  • Assists manager in placing bulk parts orders for repair and replacement stock
  • Ensures personal work area is tidy and provides a safe environment for working
  • Completes projects as assigned by manager
  • Give a consistently high level of service to all customers
  • Understand and follow standard operating procedures

Required Qualifications:

  • Backcountry ski or snowshoe knowledge
  • Excellent verbal, written and listening skills required
  • Consistent sense of urgency required
  • Excellent follow through and persistence
  • Ability to multitask, problem solve, prioritize and escalate when needed
  • Ability to work well in a team environment and cross functionally
  • Detail oriented, conscientious, and self-motivated
  • Initiative to improve processes and reduce costs
  • Overtime and/or an adjusted schedule may be required in peak season
  • Familiar with Excel, Word and Outlook
