Warranty Technician

Process and service all K2 Sports products returned to Warranty Department, and assist in order fulfillment and projects in Distribution, as needed.


Ø Assist with outlet store and event sales 

Ø Assist with strategic accounts returns and reconciliation process 

Ø Assist with parts order fulfillment for all product lines

Receive and inspect all returned products. 

Ø Interact with customers and dealers via telephone. 

Ø Determine action to be taken on products returned. 

Ø Perform repair procedures on damaged product. 

Ø Place orders for replacement product and issue credit in the ERP System. 

Ø Close out RMAs in a timely manner, especially before each accounting month end. 

Ø Work closely with Customer Service Team on related issues. 

Ø Assist in replacement parts ordering with Warranty Manager. 

Ø Track failure rates and set-up new return codes when necessary. 

Ø Assist with other product lines when necessary. 

Ø Assist with shipping and receiving responsibilities 

Ø Assist with warehouse inspections and reworks, as needed. 

Ø Assist with good RMA process 

Ø Assist with product to destroy


Required Qualifications:

Ø High School diploma 

Ø Basic computer skills 

Ø Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel 

Ø Excellent communication skills 

Ø Able to work overtime 

Ø Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Desired Qualifications:

Ø Winter sports product knowledge and experience desirable 

Ø Retail experience with consumer products desirable
